What is Bottled-in-Bond?
The Bottle-in-Bond Act was implemented into Federal law on March 3, 1897. The purpose of the act was to bring more transparency to the shady whiskey industry of the late 1800s. Today the designation is a sign of authenticity and high quality. This batch Minglewood's Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon Whiskey was distilled in the Spring of 2018 and barreled in number 18-9. All of the grain used is grown locally. Five years later, it has been taken out and bottled at exactly 100 proof. Each label is marked with the barrel used and the bottle number.
