Annual Bourbon Barrel Signing

Stop in this Winter to be part of our 8th annual Bourbon Barrel Celebration! An empty barrel has been placed in our Bottle Shop, and will be available to sign until we fill it on Feb 15, and it becomes our FIRST Bourbon Barrel of 2025. When you sign the barrel, you get exclusive access to samples of the Bourbon, and eventually bottles. You get invited back each year to sample your Bourbon Barrel at the following Barrel Celebration. Vouchers for past signers were mailed in early January. Didn't receive anything? Not sure what year you signed, or if we have your contact info? Feel free to reach out and we will be happy to check for you.   

Bourbon Barrel Celebration

Join us in celebrating the close of our 2025 Bourbon Barrel Signing.

Noon-8:00 : Bottle Shop will be open offering free tours of the distillery and serving tasting flights of our spirits.

4:00 : Ice Plant opens with full service bar and free appetizers. Try one of our signature cocktails, chilled with an Ice Luge on the bar!

5:00-6:00 : Ice Artistry will be doing a live ice carving demo on the Patio.

5:00-8:00 : Ryan Otis Bandy will be playing various genres including Classic Rock, 90s Alt, & Country.

6:30 : We will fill the Celebration Barrel with bourbon and seal it, becoming our FIRST bourbon barrel of 2025. And a raffle, to pick who gets to seal it.

Murder at the Juice Joint

Join us for a killer cocktail party at the Ice Plant at Minglewood Distilling Co. in cahoots with Wayne County Performing Arts Council. Throughout the night, you'll gather clues, interrogate suspects, and piece together the puzzle to catch the killer. Be prepared for unexpected twists and turns as the plot unfolds, keeping you on the edge of your seat until the final revelation.

Dress up in your finest vintage attire and get ready to step back in time. Enjoy the unique atmosphere of Minglewood Distilling Company, where delicious cocktails and a vibrant ambiance will transport you to the roaring twenties.
Doors & bar opens at 6:30pm followed by hors d'oeuvres. Full bar available for purchase, hors d'oeuvres are included in ticket price. Dinner is not available, please visit one of downtown Wooster's fine restaurants for dinner before the show. Science of Light Pollution

Dark Matters! Join us as we welcome Robin Gill, Astronomy Education Specialist, The Wilderness Center, and Laura DeGroot, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, The College of Wooster.We’ll look at what light pollution is and explore the impact that light pollution has on all living creatures. We will also explore the difficulties light pollution creates in observing astronomical objects. Dark skies start at home – learn how you can reduce light pollution and make your home dark-sky friendly. Become a dark-sky citizen scientist and help with this important work. Seminar will be held in the Ice Plant, and the cocktail bar is open.

Single & Ready to Mingle

Single's Night at the Ice Plant

March 15, 2025  4:00-6:00pm      

We are excited to announce our FIRST singles event at the distillery! Join us on March 15 for an evening of drinks and mingling with other singles from the Wooster area. Upon arrival you will receive your singles packet including name tag and profile cards to hand out to potential dates! Then time for singles bingo! This fun ice breaking activity will help singles get to know each other.Next its time for a cocktail to get the fun flowing! Interact with others during while creating your own craft cocktail! Now that everyone's loosened up its time for a round of speed dating! This is where the magic happens! The event concludes with free time for mingling. Not ready for the fun to end? Join us in the bottle shop after for a tour or tasting!
